The Horrific was my dissertation for my undergraduate bachelor's degree in English Literature and Film Studies. It is a collection of short stories examining the differing authorial voices used between subgenres of horror, specifically gothic horror, body horror, cosmic horror (or science fiction), and thriller horror.
